How many teeth do you have?

I am talking about permanent teeth here, if you still have baby teeth don%26#039;t answer this. Apparently the average adult has 32 teeth. I only have 24 including 4 wisdom teeth, I had 4 permanent teeth removed before I got braces, so I would have had 28 teeth. Just wondering if anyone actually has 32 teeth, it seems like a lot.

Me personally? I have 31--I had 32 until my brother extracted my upper left wisdom tooth about 22 years ago.


Plenty of people have room for their wisdom teeth. Many do not. And it%26#039;s not unusual for permanent teeth to be congenitally missing--most commonly the wisdom teeth, upper lateral incisors, and lower second premolars (you almost certainly had your first premolars removed for orthodontic treatment).
