Can dry socket happen when u have a baby tooth pulled and no permanent under neath?

I had a baby tooth extracted yesterday afternoon, and was told not to smoke or drink through a straw for forty eight hours. The baby tooth had no permanent tooth underneath it, so am I able to drink alchol tonight? which would be at about 30 hours after extraction?

Having a drink shouldn%26#039;t be an issue. A dry socket happens when the blood clot that forms in the socket is dislodged (spitting or using a straw can do that) or the clot is broken down (cig smoke breaks down the clot).
